So Sorry!

Hey Guys its Claudia!
So sorry for our absence lately. Sophie and I go on break this coming week and school is pretty hectic with all the preparations for break, getting projects done, etc. But I promise over break I have a few posts lined up! Really excited to share my favorite products and trends of 2011 with you guys! I decided quickly to name a few things im loving...
1. Yummy Perfumes, like Burberry Brit, Miss Dior Cherie, Aqualina Pink Sugar, Marc Jacobs Daisy...(haha can you not tell I just tried them all on at Sephora today?)
2. Bath and Body Works holiday candles...yum! I love the vanilla scents and the Winter Wonderland scent! Make sure to pick yours up soon currently they are on sale 2 for $20!
3. Scarves and sweaters♥ I recently found a gorgeous pullover in the sale section of Anthropologie and it is a cream color. Pretty much any cream color I have such as my recent Anthropologie purchase, a vintage sweater picked up a few weeks ago and an oversized Urban Outfitters cardi have been constantly worn by me lately with scarves!
4. Knit hair bows! I love to knit and have recently been making a bunch. Heres a preview...
Comment below if I should do a tutorial, they are really easy to make!
5. Florence + The Machine, The Naked & Famous, MGMT. All have been loves of mine for sooo long but instead of listening to their newer music I have been going back and listening to some oldies of theirs. Oh and Backstreet Boys...haha awkward.

Those are the 5 things you need to know!
Ill be posting soon! Have a great weekend!
Love, Claudia

My Top Winter Nail Polish!

Hey guys! So today I am going to be showing you my top winter nail polish! I don't think you guys know this, but I am completely obsessed with nail polish.  Its kinda bad...but hey, its all good :) I do have a lot to show, but I just couldn't take any out and know that this is the narrowed version! So lets get started...

Reds

I think classic red is absolutely gorgeous for the winter time, so I have a good mix of hues.  1) The first is a bright red with tiny shimmers in it. 2) This is a creme strawberry color with a bit of orangey hues in it. 3) This is my fav! Its a deep creamy plum.

2) OPI 20 Candles on my Cake

3) OPI  Oh..To be 25 Again!

1) OPI Red *looks different in photo
Nudes
I am obsessed with nudes in the fall and winter! 4)The first is my fav: also known as the Sophie color! It is a grayish purple color and is amazing. 5) This is a cement color that looks really pretty on.6 ) This is a shimmery champagne color that is really unique.
4) Sephora by OPI Metro Chic

5) SPARitual Mystic *can find at JUUT salon

6) Essie Buy me a Cameo

Darks
Dark nail polish is hard to wear in the summer, but in winter, it is easy to pull. 7) A shimmer black polish with chunky rainbow multi-shape glitter. 8) This is a black with silver shimmer, turning it into a gunmetal shade.

7) Sephora by OPI 212-Sephora

8) Forever 21 black/silver

Color

I think greens and blues work very nicely in the winter. 9) This is a shimmer emerald green that is sheer but build able. 10) This is a royal blue with purple reflex.

9) NYC Big Money

I hope this helped you guys for when you are shopping for nail polish this season! Tell me your fav winter polish below! Until Next Time...
XOXO,
Sophie

Lets get started...

Those are my absolute favorites!! I have a few that I'm not crazy about, so make sure when you are in the store that you ACTUALLY smell them :)  Until Next Time....

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to our amazing readers! Its Claudia and I just wanted to tell you all how thankful I am for of course my family, my friends, my home, education, etc. However, one thing I have always been passionate about is the arts, and fashion and makeup. I feel through our blog I have a chance to explore new interests and learn more about the industry I love. Thank you to all 24 of our followers, and others that even just occasionally read our blog. Thank you for more than 1,400 views! It means the world. For every comment that we get on our posts, it means you are reading and are curious about what we think, that is what makes this all worth it. Having people that care about what Sophie and I have to say. Thank you for standing by us even when we are busy and can't post as much as we please. You guys are the best and keep reading! With Christmas coming up I have a lot of fun, themed posts planned.
Lastly, because of course the day following Thanksgiving is no other than Black Friday, what are you guys doing for Black Friday? What stores are you going to be hitting up at midnight? 3 am? Stores I know that are having sales:
On Friday, 11/25 at 9AM PST up until Midnight you can use coupon code BLACKFRIDAY to snatch up as much as you want for 40% off your total purchase!
For black friday MAC is bringing back their Black Knight lipstick. Fitting right? But your must snatch it up on black friday. After that it goes away again.

Philosophy is having doorbusters as they usually do.
If you are a hardcore Urban Outfitters lover you know their sale doesn't always compare to what you wish it would be. However last year for Black Friday I found amazing things for 50% off from the sale section. If you get there early, before it gets chaotic, you may find amazing things!

And of course Sephora is going all out this year! They have 10 items for... $10!! Yes insane. I also heard rumor that if you get there before 6 am you can also get an additional 20% off your entire purchase. Look into it because thats what I heard.

Happy shopping! Leave comments below about other deals you know about!
Do you have Black Friday fever? Hopefully not this bad...
Either way have a great Thanksgiving and Black Friday!
Happy Holidays, Love Claudia
